Fueling Curiosity: Edgerton STEM Curriculum

During my time working at the Edgerton Explorit Center, I wrote and developed educational curriculum designed to engage elementary students in hands-on STEM learning. These lessons were created for camps and classroom programs, with a focus on sparking curiosity, encouraging exploration, and making complex science concepts accessible and fun. Planet of Possibilities immerses campers in an Earth science adventure exploring the weather cycle, landforms, wild weather, caves, and national parks through hands-on experiments and interactive activities. This curriculum sparks curiosity and teamwork as campers discover the dynamic forces shaping our planet and the natural wonders that surround us.

The Ultimate Pirate Adventure curriculum immerses campers in a thrilling, hands-on journey filled with treasure hunts, creative crafts, and team challenges that bring pirate lore to life. Designed to spark imagination and build teamwork, this curriculum blends fun storytelling with engaging activities perfect for young explorers seeking adventure on the high seas.

I designed this weeklong Advanced Horse Camp curriculum to deepen horsemanship skills through hands-on riding, equine science, creative crafts, and a culminating horse show. It blends safety, anatomy, behavior, and riding technique into a fun, structured experience for experienced campers.
